OSTEOPOROSIS - REBALANCING PHYSIOLOGY!

Physiology prevails over Pathology and if we can correct a physiological imbalance, we can correct any pathologies and diseases. My approach is centered in rebalancing organ system and going to the root cause of diseases and symptoms. My expertise lies in individualizing the approach to the person with the symptoms and not just the symptoms the person has. Imbalances are either disorders of toxicity (too much of something the body cannot properly detoxify) or disorders of deficiencies (not getting enough from the diet or too much is being excreted).

Here’s an example:

Osteoporosis is usually the result of an imbalance between osteoblast (bone formation) and osteoclast (bone degradation). The person’s history will dictate where the problem lies. It isn’t simply a calcium deficit, as many will take calcium supplements for years with no results. High uric acid could be the issue from a diet high in protein, too much coffee or sodas, fried foods or chocolate, which excrete precious minerals needed for bone formation (calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium). The diet will be addressed but more is needed in these cases.

Before painting a house, you must first power wash and scrape off the old paint, repair damaged areas, caulk, prime, stain, etc. Simply taking calcium supplements for bone loss will not bring results. Drainage with specialized herbal supplements and reducing acidity through diet is required, supplements must be in the right forms and amounts and finally, it takes time to rebuild a house. Rebalancing the biochemistry is crucial in getting results and my approach is centered on rebalancing biochemical reactions individual to each and every client I follow. Being a good detective is a needed asset in being a competent holistic healthcare practitioner. A holistic approach simply rebalances organ system and does not treat any diseases…but in most cases, diseases will disappear when systems are rebalanced.
